Trivia[]
- Barry Jenner's first appearance as Lt. Murtaugh in this episode.
- This is the 3rd episode where Carl tried to force his dreams on Eddie.
- This episode is the first time Eddie reexamined his future after being rejected from a modeling company. His 2nd time was in The Way the Ball Bounces, when a former player named Sam warned Eddie about the pitfalls of putting a basketball career over education. The last time is Breaking Up Is Hard to Do.
- This is the first episode where Carl and Steve have a one on one discussion with one another, which would happen many times throughout the series.
- This episode marks the first time in which Steve and Carl would be trapped somewhere together, and Steve would get on Carl's nerves. This was another instance that became a norm in the series.
- When Carl suggests a police officer as a career suggestion for Eddie, Eddie laughs hysterically like it was the craziest thing he'd ever heard. Ironically, Eddie would end up becoming a police officer in the 9th season.
Goofs[]
- During dinner, a bottle of steak sauce moves around between shots.
- The exterior shot of the cattle car (an obvious model) does not match interior shots. There is no lantern light visible from the outside; the door has vertical slats outside and horizontal inside; the side slats are open all the way down outside while the bottom half are sealed off inside.
Quotes[]
- Rachel: Sweetheart, why are you playing with your food?
- Richie: They say I'm crazy, I can do what I wanna do. It's my prerogative!
- Laura: Sorry Aunt Rachel, we've been listening to Bobby Brown.
- Richie: What's prerogative mean?
- Rachel: It means, don't play with your food.
- Eddie: No problem dad, I can always be a model.
- Judy: Are you going to be the before, or the after?
- Steve: Honest Eddo, I'm telling the truth! Rats just can't vomit!
- Eddie: Steve! Who cares!
- Steve: A guy sitting in front of a rat on a rollercoaster?
- Steve: Can I hold your shotgun?
- Carl: Do I look stupid?
- Steve: Only when you play golf
- Steve: I can see it now, 'cop kills four cows and an Urkel!'
- Carl: Oh, you know I'd never hurt a cow.
- Carl: I needed a good laugh.
- Urkel: You know, every time you laugh you burn off three and a half calories?
- Carl: Maybe I should laugh a little bit more, huh?
