Dark and Stormy Night is the sixth episode of the sixth season in this television sitcom on Family Matters, which was aired from ABC on October 28, 1994. It was directed by John Tracy and written both by Jim Geoghan and Fred Fox, Jr.

Plot[]

On a stormy Halloween night, Richie is disappointed because he can't go trick-or-treating. To make it up, Steve, Waldo and the Winslow family cheer him up by weaving a 19th-century tale about the Duke of Urkel's battle against a vampire family, the Von Winslows.

Synopsis[]

On a stormy Halloween night, Richie is disappointed because he can't go trick-or-treating. To make it up, Steve, Waldo and the Winslow family cheer him up by weaving a 19th-century tale about the Duke of Urkel's battle against a vampire family, the Von Winslows. When a Halloween-night storm cancels trick-or-treating, Urkel cheers up a disappointed Richie by playing Pass the Ghost Story. Everyone takes turns telling a story about 19th-century vampires (Carl and Harriette) licking their chops over the wayfaring Sir Steven (Urkel).
