Polkapalooza is the seventeenth episode of the ninth season in this television sitcom on Family Matters, which was aired from CBS on June 12, 1998. It was directed by Joel Zwick and written both by Stephen Langford and Saundra Stein-Langford.
Plot[]
Steve and Laura attend the biggest polka festival in all of Chicago. She is surprised and impressed by how much he has contributed to the community through polka music and how popular he is with the members. She loves him even more and enjoys herself there. Meanwhile, Eddie buys a new apartment for him. Carl comes over to visit him and overstays his welcome by embarrassing him when Eddie invites Greta over to see his apartment.

- This is the episode when Laura finally said to Steve that she loves him.
- Tammy Townsend's final appearance as Greta McClure respectively. Townsend was written to return for the planned tenth season. In fact, there was discussion of a possible engagement between Eddie and Greta.
- This is the 3rd time Eddie moves out. The 1st time was in The Oddest Couple and the 2nd time was in Till Death Do Us Apartment
- The outside of Eddie's apartment building is the same one used in Perfect Strangers, which exists in the Family Matters universe. In fact, Family Matters was its spin-off show.
